Francisco Carvalho (Coimbra, 1990) studied Film Directing at the Lisbon Theatre and Film School. His film “Far From Amazónia" (2017) had its world premiere at Curtas Vila do Conde and was screened at Visions du Réel and Parnu International Documentary and Anthropology Film Festival, in Estonia, where it was awarded best documentary short film. “Hazy Days" is his latest film. In addition to directing, he also works in cinema as an editor and as a VFX artist.
